So yesterday (Feb 28th) a row of dead pixels appeared along the centre of the screen of my Sony PRS-600 ebook reader. I only bought it at the end of December so it’s well within warranty. I took it to my local SonyStyle shop and they said they’ll send it to be looked at and see if the problem is covered under the warranty or not. Huh? I thought to myself, fearing the worst. What if they decide it isn’t?? We’ll just have to see. Everyone who knows me knows how careful I am with electronics and how much I love my gadgets, and especially how happy I was getting my reader. Don’t let me down Sony. To be continued…

Opera allows you to hid the status bar by going to setting, and mark “status bar” as “off”. You cannot download Opera from the Amazon App store.
